The Battle is the Lord's
Are you in a hard place today and do not know where to turn? When we find our selves between “the rock and a hard place”, we need to do as King Jehoshaphat of Judah did in 2 Chronicles chapter 20. The armies of the Moabites, Ammonites and some of the Meunites were marching against Judah.
Jehoshaphat knew that Judah could not defend itself against so great a number. He turns to the Lord and prays a beautiful prayer ending with “We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help" (“Our Eyes are on you Lord”) (2 Chronicles 20:12).
In verse 15 we find the word of God saying, “Do not be afraid! Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s”.
No matter if the problem is like facing a large army like Jehoshaphat or the giant, Goliath we can have the same response as David, “the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47)
I have listed a number of counseling links that might point you to an immediate answer to your situation. If not send an email to Pastor Charlie explaining your situation, we not only pray about your situation, but will make every effort to provide to you by email Godly counsel from God’s Word as soon as we possibly can.
May God bless you this day! In the book of James the Bible says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) That is the answer to most of life’s problems. Let us pray to gather “Lord we don’t know what to do but our eyes are on you for the solution”. Amen (let it be so!)
